Diplomato all’Istituto d’Arte “Dosso Dossi” di Ferrara ha frequentato l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna, si è poi dedicato all’attività di grafico nel campo della progettazione architettonica.
<<Dal lavorio necessario per capire i grandi e piccoli edifici ho sviluppato il desiderio di far apprezzare ed amare questi lembi della nostra storia ancora vitali. Attraverso la pittura vorrei offrire spunti di lettura del paesaggio urbanizzato, mai sufficientemente ri-letto perché in grado di regalare all’osservatore sempre nuove luci e prospettive di “nuove” architetture.>>
Dal 2000 è direttore artistico della Galleria del Carbone a Ferrara che ha all’attivo 240 mostre tra personali, collettive e 160 pubblicazioni.
Graduated from the Art Institute “Dosso Dossi” in Ferrara, he attended the “Academy of Fine Arts” in Bologna; as a graphic designer he specialized in the field of architectural design.
<<The work necessary to understand the foundations of big and small buildings is what stimulated my desire to appreciate and love these glimpses of our history still viable. Through painting I would offer various interpretations of the urbanized landscape, never sufficiently re-read because it can give the observer new lights and insights on the “new” architectures.>>
