Sono nata nel 1963 a Ravenna dove tuttora vivo.
Tre anni fa è iniziato il mio viaggio da autodidatta in quel “luogo oltre”, meraviglioso, che è il disegnare.
E’ incredibile la meraviglia che si prova a vedere con uno sguardo nuovo.
Tutto ciò che ci circonda, anche il luogo in cui si è sempre vissuto, cambia aspetto, diventa nuovo, da scoprire. Non solo i luoghi, anche chi li vive.
So che la strada per acquisire più dimestichezza con la matita e i colori è ancora lunga, ma è un bellissimo viaggio.
E il taccuino è un ottimo compagno di viaggio.
I was born in 1963 in Ravenna where I still live.
Three years ago I taught myself how to reach that “far away” land that is the art of drawing.
It’s like opening your eyes for the first time to discover a whole new world.
What you always took for granted now changes its shape, becoming something else, something new. Not just the places, but also the people.
I know that before getting more confident I’ve still got a long way in front of me with no shortcuts, but they say the journey is what matters and my notebook is just the perfect companion.
