Project Description

Marta Farina

She was born in Belluno, a charming city surrounded by the Dolomites where she currently lives.

Since she was a child, she expresses herself and communicates her feelings mainly with pencils and colors, painting, illustrating and creating travel diaries.

After finishing studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, she learned engraving techniques at the École Estienne in Paris and she specialized in mural painting at the International School dell’Affresco of Pedavena (BL).

During her first trip to India she started to create small sketches with pencils and watercolors.

Since then she has visited many countries, including Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar; the richest and more defined notebooks are the ones devoted to the Orient, although in the last two years she’s started developing an interest toward Europe.
